Piedmont Triad Rural Planning Organization
The Piedmont Triad Regional Council serves as the lead planning agency for the Piedmont Triad Rural Planning Organization (PTRPO).
Since May 2002, the Piedmont Triad Rural Planning Organization has been working cooperatively with the NC Department of Transportation and local officials to enhance transportation planning opportunities for rural areas in the Triad. The RPO is responsible for:
- Developing long range transportation plans for the region
- Providing transportation related data to local governments
- Developing and prioritizing projects for the TIP
- Providing a forum for public involvement in the transportation planning process.
Contact Us
The Piedmont Triad RPO provides long-range transportation planning services and related information to citizens in five rural counties: Caswell, Davidson, Montgomery, Randolph, and Rockingham.
