Operation Fan/Heat Relief

Operation Fan / Heat Relief is a special emergency project to help elderly North Carolinians cope with the heat. Many elderly citizens do not have electric fans or air conditioners in their homes and are at great risk during the hot summer months. LLC (formerly Carolina Power and Light) and Duke Energy have both donated funds in an effort to alleviate this problem in Region G.

The fans have been purchased through Home Depot in Greensboro.  Distribution was channeled through the following agencies in each County in Region G.
