The program is based on research conducted on the Roybal Center for Enhancement of Late-Life Function at Boston University.
During the program, participants learn to view falls and fear of falling as controllable, set realistic goals to increase activity, change their environment to reduce fall risk factors, and learn simple low-impact exercises to increase strength and balance.
