Operation Fan / Heat Relief

Operation Fan / Heat Relief is a special emergency project to help elderly North Carolinians cope with the heat. Many elderly citizens do not have electric fans or air conditioners in their homes and are at great risk during the hot summer months. Duke Energy and Progress Energy have both donated funds in an effort to alleviate this problem in Region G.

Distribution of the fans is channeled through the following agencies in each County in Region G.
