Piedmont Triad Regional Council Program Areas

Area Agency on Aging

The AAA is responsible for planning, developing, implementing, and coordinating aging services for the region.  It is a part of a larger aging network created by the Older American Act of 1965 dedicated to improving the lives of older Americans nationwide. 

Criminal Justice

Providing regional solutions for local community safety needs.

Housing

Provides purchase assistance, housing rehabilitation, new construction, and rental assistance to low income families. 

Management and Member Services

Seeks to bring professionalism, external objectivity, and clarity to the often-complex programs of public administration.  Program areas include personnel pay and classification studies, and data/information services.  Programs can and do vary based on the current needs of our members. 

Planning Services

Consists of three primary service areas:  local and regional planning, environmental planning, and transportation and pedestrian planning. GIS services are also a part of the planning division at the PTRC.

Ensuring a quality, highly skilled, productive workforce that meets the needs of local businesses.
